CHIRAG-E-DILL NEWS# The Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana started his visit to MINExpo in Las Vegas on Tuesady, Sept 24th. MINExpo 2024 is the world's largest mining event, scheduled from September 24–26, 2024 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The event showcased the latest mining innovations, technologies, and machinery, and is expected to provide opportunities to network with industry professionals(more than 44,000 professionals from over 125 countries were in attendance).

The Deputy Chief Minister had a very significant series of meetings on Tuesday, 24th September at the MINExpo in Las Vegas, the biggest congregation of mining equipment manufacturers in the world 
He met the management of Komatsu and examined their latest products - D475A-8 mining dozer, GD955-7 motor grader, ZT44 blasthole drill, HRX 1000 sizer, 12HM26 continuous miner, WE2350-4 hybrid wheel loader, and other products. 
He also met the management of Caterpillar Inc. He examined their latest product offerings which included Cat®️ Dynamic Energy Transfer (DET). , The 372-tonne Cat®️ 798 AC mining truck, configured for autonomous haulage , The Cat R1700 XE load-haul-dump (LHD) loader , The Cat R2900 XE LHD , The PGS 1260 HD Energy Storage System (ESS) module and the MEC500 for mobile equipment charging.
He then met the management of BKT tyres, as well as the Wirtgen group, and examined their latest product offerings to the mining industry. 
Later, he also met with various top-level officials of the US government, who included Mr Arun Venkataraman(leader of the delegation), Assistant Secretary of Global Markets, Ms. Olimar Rivera Noa, Senior Policy Advisor, Mr. Shantanu Sarkar, Commercial Specialist, Mr. Cornelius Gyamfi, International Trade Specialist, Mr. Derek Schlickeisen, Global Energy Sector Lead, Ms. Jasmine Braswell, Global Design and Construction Trade Specialist. 
Both sides had a very fruitful exchange with the US, expressing keen interest in facilitating any possible investments into Telangana state, which they said they had professional faith in, owing to their past experiences in Hyderabad state. 
The Deputy CM discussed many aspects with his counterpart lead of the US delegation(Mr. Arun Venkataraman) - the importance of sustainability in mining and other operations, the growing significance of rare earth metal mining, the strategic partnerships that could be forged while envisaging and building the new Fourth City in Hyderabad, the importance of Hyderabad as an engine of growth for the Telangana Economy, the many positive experiences that have informed the context of American companies in Hyderabad, and the need for strategic cooperation between both the countries, particularly given the meetings of the Heads of States of both respective countries a few days ago. He believed that the future augurs bright if both sides were committed to sustainable technological interventions that would spur growth. 
The meeting ended positively with Mr Venkataraman expressing hope for renewed future collaborations.
